Pow
Today there was 22" of fresh on the mountain. Perhaps I was operating Microsoft Outlook at work. Perhaps I was taking epic face shots and hucking it into bottomless drifts. I can't say in public, but if you want to know, drop me a line.

Powder Day
Yesterday I woke up in Mexico. There have been about 12 inches of fresh on the mountain so I called a powder morning and skied with Josh. Worked this afternoon.
Coast
I saw the beach only from the airplane. I'd like to see it if I go back, but I'm only going back if something goes wrong.
Hold Still For This Haircut
I got a haircut.
The barber took out a razor blade and, holding it freehand, finished the detail work around my ears and the nape of my neck. Amazing.
In America the lawyers would never permit it.

fruit
They have military checkpoints along the highway with soldiers behind sandbags with machine guns on bipods. Our truck was being searched and one of the soldiers had a black mask drawn up over his face. I thought he might have been preserving his anonymity so later I asked my host. He said it was for protection against bugs that carry malaria and dengue fever.
On the other hand, the fruit is amazing.

Cantarel
And evening at the nitrogen plant feeding the Cantarell oil fields. I got our system back and running by 7pm.
